ZuZu regularly takes acting classes and has training for acting in film, the stage, and improv. She trained at Studio East in acting techniques including Meisner, Stanislavski, Uta Hagen, and is continuing her acting education at California Institute of the Arts ( CalArts) where she is training towards a BFA in acting.

In 2018, ZuZu traveled to England to attend the West End Stage Summer School in London for theatre resulting in a final performance at Her Majesty's Theatre.  In 2020 she had the wonderful privilege of taking Advanced Acting classes with Emmy Award winning actress, producer, and coach Katie O'Grady.  The same year, she competed in the August Wilson Monologue Competition making it to the finals, in 2021 she won the competition, earning the title of AWMC 2021 Regional Winner.
